Sales & Operations Assistant

Schedule: 20+ hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm EST

Job Description

You’ll be the driving force behind business growth, owning the complete sales cycle from lead generation to client handoff. This role combines strategic sales work with operational coordination, giving you the opportunity to build and optimize processes from the ground up. You’ll work directly with the business owner to scale operations while maintaining the company’s focus on profitability and quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads through research and build targeted prospect lists for deep cleaning and commercial cleaning services
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up on incoming leads to close new clients
  • Price cleaning projects strategically to achieve 30-40% profit margins while remaining competitive in the market
  • Vet and onboard subcontractor cleaners, ensuring proper insurance, EIN/ITIN documentation, and contract execution
  • Coordinate cleaning projects between clients and subcontractors across multiple service areas
  • Follow up on completed cleaning jobs to ensure quality standards and maintain client satisfaction
  • Handle administrative tasks including call management, client communication, and project coordination
  • Create and manage social media content using before/after photos provided by cleaning teams
  • Manage the complete sales funnel from initial outreach to successful project handoff

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with demonstrated ability to close deals over the phone
  • Strong lead generation skills and ability to research and build prospect lists independently
  • Understanding of pricing strategies and margin calculations for service-based businesses
  • Excellent communication skills for managing both client and subcontractor relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results in a remote environment
  • Bonus if you have experience with contractor or vendor management
  • Bonus if you have previous experience in the cleaning or home services industry
