IT Support Specialist

Work Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST (1-hour unpaid break)

Job Description: 

You’ll be the dedicated technical backbone for a scaling team, ensuring seamless operations across a fully distributed workforce. This role offers the autonomy to own all internal IT needs while supporting a company in an exciting growth phase. You’ll work exclusively with this client, providing the responsive support and technical expertise that directly enables their business expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate technical support for email, password, and Microsoft ecosystem issues to agents and administrative staff
  • Manage user account creation, access control, and onboarding processes during scaling periods
  • Maintain and optimize Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments with extensive data management
  • Deliver responsive troubleshooting and technical guidance during business hours
  • Support User onboarding processes when multiple new agents join simultaneously
  • Ensure reliable technical operations for a fully remote workforce across multiple states
  • Proactively maintain system performance and user access across the Microsoft ecosystem

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise with Microsoft ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Office 365, Exchange)
  • Experience with user account management and access control systems
  • Proven ability to provide responsive technical support during business hours
  • Experience supporting remote teams and distributed workforces
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for email, passwords, and software issues
  • Strong communication skills for supporting non-technical users
  • Bonus if you have experience with insurance or financial services environments
