QuickBooks Bookkeeper - E-commerce Reconciliation

Schedule: Monday to Friday between 9:30 AM to 6.30 PM UK time with one hour unpaid lunch

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records using QuickBooks
  • Handle account reconciliation and recording of financial transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Handle invoicing for clients
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Gather, organize, and reconcile receipts for credit card transactions
  • Create and post journal entries for receipt-based and expense-related transactions
  • Reconcile Shopify and Amazon sales orders with corresponding payouts and deposits
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) by:
    • Matching payments to supplier bills
    • Processing bills and ensuring timely payments
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) by:
    • Matching customer payments and payouts to invoices
    • Monitoring outstanding receivables and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare and issue client invoices
  • Process and raise refunds for customer orders as required
  • Process expense claims and ensure proper documentation and approval
  • Create and manage intercompany journal entries and reconciliations
  • Support month-end and period-end closing activities
  • Ensure financial data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies

Qualifications

  • Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic accounting principles

  • Strong skills in AP/AR management, invoicing, and payment matching

  • Experience with bank, credit card, Shopify, and Amazon reconciliations

  • Ability to create and post journal entries accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data

  • Ability to organize receipts, process refunds, and manage expense claims

  • Experience supporting month-end close and intercompany reconciliations

  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets

  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
