Bookkeeper - Bank Reconciliations & Data Integrity

Overview

This role requires the ability to independently handle account reconciliations, understand accruals and reversals, and apply solid accounting judgment. You will ensure accurate, up-to-date financial data while supporting the team and maintaining high data integrity. The role starts with a structured training period, after which the schedule will shift toward daytime Manila Time.


Job Highlights

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours/week

Training Period: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM ON Time, 30-minute paid break

  • Post-Training: Daytime schedule (Manila Time) TBD

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently across platforms and systems

  • Maintain data integrity by following established procedures and guidelines

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial data

  • Collaborate with team members to understand data entry requirements

  • Ensure financial data is up-to-date and readily available for analysis

  • Enter sales, inventory, and financial data

  • Update customer and vendor information

  • Process orders and invoices

  • Maintain product catalogs and pricing data


Requirements

  • Proven experience in bank reconciliation roles

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficiency in using computers and data entry software/platforms

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience with Netsuite or other ERP systems is a plus

  • Detail-oriented and well-organized

  • Quick learner, adaptable to new processes

  • Strong core accounting knowledge

  • Clear and professional communication skills

  • Proactive follow-up and task completion mindset

  • Comfortable asking questions and clarifying expectations
