Role: Web Designer
Schedule: 9AM-1PM Eastern Time (20 hours per week)

Job Overview

We’re looking for a talented Web Designer to create responsive websites and landing pages that deliver clean, user-focused experiences across all devices. This role involves translating business and user requirements into high-quality visual designs, maintaining brand consistency, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple projects independently, and able to iterate designs based on feedback and performance insights. Applicants with strong web and UI design portfolios will be prioritized.

Responsibilities:

  • Design responsive websites and landing pages across desktop, tablet, and mobile

  • Translate business requirements and user needs into clear design solutions

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs

  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs

  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing, and performance insights

  • Optimize layouts for usability, accessibility, and performance

  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating web and UI design work (APPLICANTS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch

  • Solid understanding of responsive design and web standards

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern web workflows

  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency

  • Ability to explain design decisions clearly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with developers in agile or startup environments

  • Familiarity with UX principles, accessibility standards, and conversion-focused design

  • Experience designing for SaaS, marketplaces, or content-driven platforms

  • Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
