Job Overview:
The Assistant Manager will provide high-level support to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector Service Provider Manager across operational, compliance and administrative areas.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and organizing the Manager’s weekly schedule, emails, follow-ups, and meetings
- Assisting with NDIS compliance, internal audits, documentation, and maintaining up-to-date registers
- Supporting the development, review and implementation of policies and procedures
- Overseeing incident reporting, follow-up actions, and ensuring timeframes are met
- Assisting in complaints management, drafting responses, and coordinating investigations where required
- HR follow-ups including onboarding documentation, training compliance, leave management reminders, and record-keeping
- Preparing correspondence, minutes, reports and summaries as needed
- Supporting quality assurance processes and ensuring alignment with NDIS Practice Standards
Qualifications / Experience:
- Background in Social Work, Law, or related human services fields
- Experience within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector, disability services, or compliance-driven environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of reporting obligations, safeguarding requirements, and governance frameworks
