Job Description: As a Medical Billing Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our telehealth nutrition practice’s operations. You’ll manage our state-of-the-art telehealth platform, ensuring smooth patient experiences from appointment scheduling to insurance processing. This role offers a unique blend of customer service, healthcare administration, and financial management. Responsibilities:
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient information in our advanced telehealth platform
- Provide top-notch customer support via phone and email, representing our practice professionally
- Handle insurance-related tasks, including eligibility checks and claims submission
- Process payments, manage invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts
- Assist with financial operations, including updating bi-weekly employee payment information
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the efficient operation of our growing practice
