Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Site Planning and Drafting Specialist to support planning documentation and technical drawings for development applications. This role focuses on producing accurate, regulation-compliant site plans and drawings while working closely with the principal planner to ensure smooth and timely submissions.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed site plans that clearly show property boundaries, existing structures, and proposed developments
  
  
• Use GIS imagery to accurately map properties and overlay new structural designs
  
  
• Calculate and document key measurements such as boundary setbacks, site coverage, and structural dimensions
  
  
• Design and incorporate stormwater connection details into site plans
  
  
• Produce professional elevation drawings that clearly communicate design intent
  
  
• Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with relevant planning regulations and scale requirements
  
  
• Prepare and format documents for submission to official planning authorities
  
  
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the principal planner
  
  
• Adapt to changing workloads while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards
  
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in site planning, drafting, or architectural documentation
  
  
• Strong ability to interpret property boundaries, planning requirements, and development guidelines
  
  
• Proficiency in drafting and design tools used for site plans and elevations
  
  
• Experience using GIS imagery or similar mapping tools
  
  
• High attention to detail, especially with measurements, scaling, and compliance
  
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely
