The Role
As the Senior Accountant, you will be the cornerstone of our financial operations. Your primary accountability will be ensuring the absolute integrity of the General Ledger (GL) and providing expert oversight of all core bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online (QBO). This demands a mastery of GAAP, meticulous execution of fundamental financial tasks—specifically the classification and analysis of Assets, Liabilities, Expenses, and Income—and the accurate preparation of Balance Sheets and P&L Statements. You will then leverage this financial precision to support subsequent financial and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
QuickBooks Online Mastery & Core Bookkeeping (Priority Focus)

Serve as the subject matter expert for QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Own the integrity of the GL for multiple entities by meticulously reviewing and classifying all transactions.

Ensure the proper and accurate recording of core financial components, including Assets, Liabilities, and Expenses, to guarantee the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements are reliable and GAAP compliant.
Strategic Reporting & Analysis

Prepare, analyze, and present high-level financial reports to senior management.

Provide actionable insights by accurately interpreting the Balance Sheet and P&L, enabling strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
Financial Management & Oversight

Take ownership of complex financial reconciliations, ensuring the integrity and consistency of data across QBO, Service Titan, and other platforms for multiple business entities.

A mastery of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is required.
Optional: Payroll Support

Knowledge of US payroll processing, pay codes, and compliance is a strong advantage, but not required.

This role may involve assisting with payroll cycle management as needed.
Qualifications & Expertise
QuickBooks Online & Bookkeeping Expertise (Non-Negotiable)

Demonstrated expert-level mastery of QuickBooks Online (QBO) is mandatory.

Must possess outstanding, hands-on, multi-entity bookkeeping experience and the ability to thoroughly understand, analyze, and maintain the integrity of core financial concepts: Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Revenue, and Expenses.
Payroll Knowledge (A Plus, Not Required)

Basic familiarity or prior experience with US payroll principles is an advantage, though primary payroll ownership is not expected in this role.
Advanced Accounting Acumen

A minimum of 5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in accounting, with demonstrated mastery of GAAP and complex, multi-entity financial structures.
Technical Proficiency

Proven ability to expertly utilize QuickBooks Online and a strong ability to quickly learn and proficiently utilize Service Titan or other industry-specific management software.
Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
