Role Overview
Our client is seeking a confident and driven Sales Consultant who can effectively generate leads, engage potential clients, and convert inquiries into paying customers. This role requires someone comfortable speaking with clients over the phone, understanding their career needs, and clearly explaining how our services can help them succeed.
In addition to sales, the role involves creating resumes and cover letters for clients, so strong written communication and attention to detail are essential. Familiarity with email marketing and CRM tools is also valuable, as this team member may use these tools to target, connect with, and nurture potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
- Proactively generate leads through organic channels (inbound inquiries, referrals, follow-ups, and outreach).
- Conduct phone consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable services.
- Confidently handle sales calls, overcome objections, and close deals.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
- Use email marketing CRM tools to connect with potential clients, nurture leads, and track engagement.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance goals.
Client Consultation & Service Delivery
- Assess clients’ career backgrounds, goals, and job targets.
- Write and edit professional, ATS-compliant resumes tailored to client roles and industries.
- Create or assist with cover letters and other career documents as required.
- Ensure high-quality outputs and client satisfaction throughout the process.
Administration
- Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, and sales activities.
- Track client progress from initial inquiry through completion of services.
- Coordinate closely with internal team members when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, telesales, or customer-facing roles (service-based sales preferred).
- Strong confidence in speaking with clients over the phone.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Ability to write or quickly learn how to write professional resumes.
- Experience or willingness to use email marketing/CRM tools for lead generation.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with the team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience in resume writing, recruitment, HR, or career coaching.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and job application processes.
- Experience selling professional services.
