Business Development Representative - AU experience

Job Overview

The Business Development & Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying, researching, and generating high-quality leads that convert into business opportunities. This role plays a critical part in supporting revenue growth by building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, particularly within the Australian market.

The ideal candidate is confident in verbal communication, results-driven, and capable of working independently while consistently meeting lead and performance targets. Experience with Australian clients and familiarity with the NDIS sector is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate qualified leads through online research, outbound prospecting, and data-driven sourcing strategies

  • Research target industries, businesses, and decision-makers, with a strong focus on the Australian market

  • Initiate first contact with prospects via calls, email, or other approved outreach channels

  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and assess business needs and opportunities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead records in CRM systems or internal tracking tools

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align lead generation strategies with business objectives

  • Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and outreach targets

  • Provide regular performance updates, reports, and insights on lead quality and conversion potential

  • Ensure all outreach and communication aligns with professional standards and Australian business etiquette

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills and confidence in speaking
  • Proven experience working with Australian (AU) clients, including familiarity with local business practices and communication standards
  • Experience with the NDIS sector in Australia or demonstrated knowledge of this field (highly preferred)
  • Proven or demonstrated experience in lead generation and business development
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to conduct efficient online research
  • Results-oriented mindset with a clear focus on targets and measurable outcomes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent productivity
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality results
