Overview
We are a growing consumer-product brand seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time assistant to support basic bookkeeping, financial maintenance, and light administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
Job Highlights
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 10 hours
Schedule: Flexible working hours during PST business hours (must be available from 2:00–4:00 PM PST for Zoom check-ins)
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, applicants must have their own computer and stable internet connection. Contractors handle their own benefits and taxes. The hourly rate is based on performance throughout the application process.
Responsibilities

Perform basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks and Excel.

Handle accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare invoices and assist with payroll.

Complete account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.

Manage data entry for retailer and distributor forms.

Update sell sheets, spec sheets, and customer information packages.

Organize files and documents across distributors.

Assist with email communication as needed.

Support simple financial modeling tasks in Excel.

Participate in Zoom check-ins between 2:00–4:00 PM PST.
Requirements

Experience with QuickBooks and solid Excel skills.

Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial processes.

Strong organization and attention to detail.

Comfortable working with documents, forms, and data entry.

Good written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and attend scheduled Zoom check-ins.
