We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Spanish Bilingual Agent to join our team as a Care Coordinator. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and preferably has a medical background or experience working in the medical department of a BPO company. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive timely communication, appointment scheduling, and follow-up care.
This is a remote position that requires a professional, proactive, and patient-focused individual who can handle administrative healthcare-related tasks with discretion and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone, email, or scheduling platform
- Make follow-up calls to ensure patients are adhering to care plans and attending scheduled visits
- Provide reminders for upcoming appointments and address rescheduling needs
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with patients in the system
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and departments to facilitate smooth patient experiences
- Respond to patient inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Monitor communication channels (calls, emails, chat) for timely responses
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Assist with other administrative support tasks as needed
Requirements
- MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare-related role or in a medical BPO department
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in scheduling and administrative coordination
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care processes is a plus
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
