Schedule: Flexible within client business hours New Zealand Time, 20 Hrs per week


About the Role

This role supports a personal brand focused on helping New Zealand property investors and high earners make smarter wealth decisions. The goal is to position a lead adviser as a trusted voice for people transitioning from property investing to broader portfolio investing — using high-quality, consistent content to do so.

We’re looking for someone who can bring this vision to life through content and keep momentum going.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for transforming raw footage and ideas into polished, on-brand content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. You’ll also play a key role in keeping the adviser accountable — prompting filming, providing scripts, and managing the content calendar to ensure content is consistently created and published.


What You’ll Do

  • Edit video content into short-form reels, longer YouTube videos, and platform-specific clips
  • Write scripts and talking points for filming sessions
  • Manage the content calendar — plan what gets posted and when, and ensure it happens
  • Publish content consistently across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Monitor engagement and flag comments or messages that need responses
  • Suggest content ideas based on performance and audience response
  • Keep the adviser on track by sending reminders, scheduling filming blocks, and making it easy to record content

About You

  • Experienced with video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
  • Strong understanding of short-form video (hooks, pacing, captions, trends)
  • Able to write in a professional yet approachable tone (scripts and captions)
  • Proactive and ideas-driven — you don’t wait for instructions
  • Reliable, communicative, and comfortable flagging issues early
  • Comfortable working remotely across time zones

Nice to Have

  • Experience with financial services, professional services, or B2B content
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, or scheduling tools
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva) for thumbnails and static posts
