Marketing and Admin Assistant

Schedule: Full time, 40h per week - Monday - Friday (9am-5pm) EST

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Social Media & Internal Communications Virtual Assistant to support daily communication, content posting, and brand visibility across multiple platforms. This role ensures consistent messaging, timely internal updates, and strong online presence for a growing roofing/electrical services company. Ideal for someone who excels in social media, communication, organization, and fast-paced environments.


Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok (optional), and Google Business Profile.

  • Upload before/after photos, project updates, customer reviews, and key service information.

  • Respond to comments, messages, and engagement daily.

  • Create simple graphics using Canva templates.

  • Schedule weekly content calendars.

Reputation & Review Management

  • Request reviews after each completed job (via text, email, or CRM).

  • Upload reviews to social platforms and website.

  • Respond to reviews using approved templates.

  • Maintain consistent online reputation and customer follow-up.

Internal Communication

  • Coordinate job updates between the estimator, PMs, field teams, and office staff.

  • Track permit status, inspections, approvals, and follow-ups.

  • Send reminders and daily internal updates to ensure team alignment.

  • Prepare a structured “VA Daily Report” summarizing progress, tasks, and pending items.

Content & Brand Assets

  • Organize images, videos, review screenshots, and job files for future posting.

  • Maintain updated folders of brand assets and templates.


Requirements

  • Experience managing business social media accounts.

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and posting instructions.

  • Comfortable with photo organization and basic graphic editing (Canva).

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in construction, home services, or trades industries (ideal but not required).

  • Knowledge of Google Business Profile posting and optimization.

  • CRM experience (GoHighLevel or Housecall Pro preferred).

  • Familiarity with review platforms and online reputation tools.
