Job Overview
Our client is looking for a talented, driven Content Marketing Manager to join their digital advertising agency. In this role, you will own the end-to-end creation of sales and marketing content that fuels the agency's growth and elevates their clients' brands. You'll work closely with the sales, strategy, and design teams to craft compelling narratives across every channel — from social media and digital ads to email, SMS, phone, and beyond. This is a high-impact position for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and understands how great content drives real business results. You will work alongside a sales and marketing automation specialist and an account executive.
Schedule
-
Flexible during client business hours (PST) (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Social Media: Develop and execute organic social media content strategies across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook; write and schedule engaging posts, stories, and short-form video scripts tailored to each platform's audience and format; monitor performance metrics and optimize content calendars based on engagement and reach data; manage the agency's brand voice and ensure consistency across all social channels.
- Digital Advertising: Write high-converting copy for paid social, display, search, and programmatic ad campaigns; collaborate with the design team to brief and develop ad creative (static, animated, and video); conduct A/B testing on headlines, CTAs, and body copy to continuously improve campaign performance; maintain ad copy libraries and creative templates for internal and client use.
- Email Marketing: Plan and write email campaigns including prospecting sequences, nurture flows, newsletters, and promotional sends; segment audiences and personalize messaging to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions; manage email calendars, coordinate with designers, and oversee QA before deployment; analyze email performance and report on KPIs; recommend and implement optimizations.
- SMS Marketing: Craft concise, compelling SMS and MMS content for promotional and transactional messaging campaigns; ensure compliance with TCPA regulations and best practices for opt-in/opt-out management; coordinate SMS sends with broader campaign schedules to maximize impact and minimize audience fatigue.
- Phone & Sales Enablement: Write call scripts, talk tracks, and objection-handling guides for the sales team; develop voicemail scripts and follow-up sequences that support the agency's outbound prospecting efforts; create one-pagers, pitch decks, and sales collateral that help close new business.
- Case Studies & Thought Leadership: Interview clients and internal teams to develop compelling case studies that showcase agency results; write long-form content including blog posts, whitepapers, and industry guides that position the agency as a category leader; repurpose case studies and long-form content into social snippets, email highlights, and sales leave-behinds.
- Brand & Content Strategy: Maintain and evolve the agency's brand voice, tone guidelines, and messaging framework; build and manage a master content calendar aligned to business goals and seasonal campaigns; collaborate with leadership on go-to-market messaging for new service offerings and initiatives; stay current on content marketing trends, platform algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
