Spanish Bilingual Construction Estimator
Job Overview
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Estimator to support their preconstruction and project planning processes. This role is critical in ensuring accurate cost estimation, identifying plan discrepancies, and supporting cost-efficient decision-making across projects.
Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural and construction plans to prepare accurate project estimates for the Sales & Marketing team.
- Review drawings and documentation to identify inconsistencies and generate RFIs (Requests for Information) for architects, engineers, or owners.
- Evaluate project specifications, exclusions, and allowances to ensure alignment with estimates and avoid scope gaps or cost overruns.
- Review and validate subcontractor shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by proposing alternative materials, suppliers, or construction methods without compromising quality.
- Maintain and update a database of material suppliers, pricing, and procurement options.
- Ensure all selected materials and scopes align with approved budgets and project expectations.
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, preconstruction, or a related role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with construction estimating software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar project management software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience working with U.S.-based construction projects.
- Knowledge of materials sourcing and vendor management.
- Ability to propose value engineering solutions.
