The client is a growing telehealth psychiatry practice based in Missouri, serving patients across three states. They are dedicated to making mental health services more accessible through a team of passionate healthcare providers.
Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM CT (20 work hours per week)
Note: There is a clear pathway to transition to Full-Time (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT, 40 hours per week) within 2-3 months.

Responsibilities:
- Contact patients via phone, text, and email regarding insurance verification, expired coverage, and out-of-network issues
- Follow up on missing new patient paperwork and coordinate document collection through multiple communication channels
- Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations based on patient responsiveness and documentation status
- Reach out to prospective patients who have inquired about services to facilitate new patient onboarding
- Process payment communications for self-pay patients and accounts with outstanding balances
- Navigate and manage patient information within the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Complete comprehensive online training modules for HIPAA compliance and state-required protocols
- Support clinical operations through proactive patient communication and administrative coordination
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and follow-up requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and documentation
Requirements:
- Healthcare industry background or familiarity with medical administrative processes
- Strong English communication skills for professional patient interactions via phone, text, and email
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements or willingness to complete comprehensive training
- Ability to work Central Time zone hours with reliable internet connection
- Professional phone manner and empathetic communication style for sensitive healthcare interactions
