Financial Records Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Professional to support our financial operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing general ledger activities, and ensuring timely and precise reporting. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks, is comfortable handling multiple client accounts or files, and preferably comes from a public accounting environment.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (US Pacific Time), with a 30-minute paid break (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks with a high level of accuracy
- Manage and reconcile the General Ledger (GL), ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations regularly
- Prepare and review financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Work on multiple client files/accounts simultaneously while maintaining organization and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams or external clients to gather necessary financial information
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualification & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Professional with 2-3 yrs of experience
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Solid understanding of General Ledger (GL) management and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
