Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Google Ads Specialist to build, manage, and optimize high-performing Google Ads campaigns for an established e-commerce brand.
This is a hands-on, specialist-level role. You will be responsible for campaign strategy, setup, monitoring, optimization, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate understands the full Google Ads ecosystem, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns, and can confidently make data-driven decisions to improve ROI.
Schedule: Mon to Fri, 20 hours per week, flexible between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Google Ads strategy aligned with business goals
- Set up and structure Search, Shopping, Display, and/or Performance Max campaigns
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting
- Write compelling ad copy and optimize creatives to improve CTR and conversions
- Monitor campaign performance daily/weekly and optimize bids, budgets, and targeting
- Implement conversion tracking, GA4 integration, and performance measurement
- Conduct A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and targeting strategies
- Provide clear performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations
- Continuously improve ROAS, reduce CPA, and scale profitable campaigns
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns for e-commerce businesses
- Strong understanding of Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns
- Experience with conversion tracking and Google Analytics (GA4)
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into optimization strategies
- Strong copywriting skills for high-converting ad creatives
- Experience managing budgets and improving ROAS
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and provide strategic recommendations
Nice to Have
- Experience in the alcohol, beverage, or retail e-commerce space
- Familiarity with Australian consumer market trends
- Experience with landing page optimization and CRO principles
