Responsibilities
- Property Settlement Support: Manage administrative tasks including data entry for property settlement matters and detailed financial documents.
- Financial Organization: Organize and categorize bank statements and financial records within the firm's legal management systems.
- Document Preparation: Assist with drafting and filing documentation for family law, wills and estates, and child safety cases.
- Software Management: Learn and operate specialized legal software packages and practice management systems used by the firm.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols when handling sensitive client information.
- Workflow Optimization: Support the legal team by managing routine administrative workflows to ensure deadlines are met and files are audit-ready.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative or paralegal experience.
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to understand and process complex financial data and legal documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work the specific Brisbane evening shift reliably.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a legal environment or law firm (Preferred).
- Background in legal secretarial tasks or supporting legal professionals (Preferred).
- Prior experience supporting clients or firms based in Australia (Highly Regarded).
- Familiarity with family law documentation and property settlement processes (Nice to Have).

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
