Our client is looking for a versatile support professional to handle both bookkeeping and general administrative work. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can work independently on various projects, helping to free up a high-level technology consultant to focus on strategic growth initiatives.

Client Overview

The client is a solo technology consultant with 20 years of experience in the industry, serving high-demanding clients in the spatial computing and technology sectors. The business has been operating for three years and manages strategic technology projects while also running a smaller secondary company.

Schedule 

  • Flexible within California, Pacific time (20 hours per week)
    Note: with the potential to grow into a full-time position as business needs expand

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial tasks including QuickBooks entries and expense categorization on a weekly basis
  • Organize and coordinate weekly projects and deliverables to multiple clients
  • Execute recurring weekly tasks and client communications as delegated
  • Break down strategic projects into step-by-step actionable items and manage execution
  • Handle project management and general administrative duties to support business operations across multiple ventures

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in Project Coordination or Operations Management.
  • Has proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative support roles
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks for financial management and expense tracking
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general administrative software
  • Experience working with technology consultants or similar professional services businesses (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on project management tasks (preferred)
  • Versatile skill set allowing flexibility across different types of business support functions (preferred)

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
