Job Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Telemarketer to generate and qualify leads for commercial cleaning services targeting medium-sized businesses with 20+ staff. This role involves outbound calling, appointment setting, and email communication to secure new clients who require regular weekly cleaning services. The position offers 20 hours per week working remotely with direct reporting to the business owner in Sydney.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 20 hours per week (flexible 2-3 days) Sydney Time
Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to medium-sized businesses to promote commercial cleaning services.
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria including company size (20+ hybrid staff) and cleaning frequency requirements (2-5 days per week minimum).
- Schedule appointments and site visits for qualified prospects who express interest in cleaning services.
- Send follow-up emails to interested prospects with contact details and appointment confirmations.
- Maintain records of call activity, lead information, and appointment scheduling outcomes. Communicate directly with the business owner regarding qualified leads and appointment confirmations.
- Focus on securing one-year cleaning contracts with weekly service requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in telemarketing or outbound sales with demonstrated ability to generate leads and set appointments.
- Mid-level experience with professional phone communication skills and ability to handle high call volumes.
- Strong written communication skills for sending professional follow-up emails to prospects. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment. Comfortable using soft phone systems and laptop-based calling software such as 3CX.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in the commercial cleaning industry or B2B service sales.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management tools.
