Job Description
As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll spearhead our digital presence expansion, transitioning from local to national and international reach. You’ll craft compelling, authentic content that resonates with our affluent, primarily female demographic interested in holistic health. Your role is crucial in showcasing our unique blend of wellness modalities, breathtaking natural setting, and transformative retreat experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our online narrative, engage with a discerning audience, and directly impact the growth of our main retreat and associated businesses.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow our Facebook presence, with potential expansion to other platforms
- Create authentic, engaging content that aligns with our wholesome approach to wellness
- Engage with our audience, promptly addressing inquiries and comments
- Implement strategies to expand our reach beyond local markets
- Assist with basic SEO to improve our online visibility
- Collaborate with the owner to ensure content authenticity
- Manage social media for our associated businesses as needed
- Monitor and report on social media metrics and engagement
- Adapt strategies based on performance and business needs
Requirements
- Proven social media management experience, preferably in wellness or hospitality
- Strong grasp of Facebook business tools and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Content creation skills that resonate with a mature, affluent audience
- Basic SEO understanding
- Familiarity with holistic health and wellness concepts (preferred)
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Ability to work 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Availability for weekly strategy meetings
- Preference for early morning hours (Eastern Time)
