Job Description
We’re seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Editor with strong video editing capabilities to spearhead our digital content strategy. In this role, you’ll craft attention-grabbing, short-form video content that seamlessly blends real estate insights with our brand’s distinctive, edgy style. You’ll be instrumental in shaping our online presence, managing our social media platforms, and ensuring our content consistently pushes boundaries while delivering value. This position offers the exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of real estate, entertainment, and digital media, promising a dynamic and creatively challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit eye-catching short video clips and still photos for various social media platforms
- Develop and execute pre-launch content strategy to build anticipation and audience
- Manage daily social media operations post-launch, ensuring consistent engagement and growth
- Repurpose existing masterclass content into compelling social media posts
- Edit and schedule posts for future content launches (1-2 hours daily)
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss and refine social media strategy
- Maintain brand consistency across all platforms while pushing creative boundaries
- Collaborate with team members to align social media content with overall marketing goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media content creation and management
- Advanced video editing skills, particularly for short-form content
- Familiarity with hip-hop and music video editing styles
- Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a flexible schedule
- Creative mindset with an eye for provocative, attention-grabbing content
- Comfortable working with mature themes and edgy content
- Available for weekly team meetings on Tuesdays at 4 PM Mountain Time
- Capable of delivering high-quality content within a 24-hour turnaround time
- Adaptable to a startup environment with evolving needs and priorities
