SEO Specialist

Part-time (20 hours a week)

Mon – Fri, 4 hours a day (flexible between 8 am-6 pm) CST

We are seeking a motivated SEO Specialist with 1-2 years of experience in

search engine optimization to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow

into a full-time role.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in using SEO programs like Google Analytics, Google

Search Console, SEMRush, Surfer SEO, and have a strong working knowledge of the

WordPress platform. This role requires a data-driven mindset, a knack for keyword research,

content creation, and a passion for optimizing websites to drive organic traffic.

● Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and optimize content accordingly.

● Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using Google Analytics, Google

Search Console, and other SEO tools.

● Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headers, internal linking,

and schema markup.

● Optimize website structure and content on WordPress to improve search engine

rankings.

● Use SEMRush and other tools to perform competitive analysis and identify content &

optimization opportunities.

● Develop and create new website content focused on specific keywords to improve

search rankings and drive targeted organic traffic.

● Track and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, ranking changes, and

conversion rates.

● Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.

● 2-3 years of experience in SEO, preferably with a focus on WordPress websites.

● Proficiency in SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Yoast SEO,

SEMRush, and Surfer SEO.

● Strong knowledge of WordPress, including experience with plugins and basic HTML.

● Understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

● Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
