Project Manager
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
9am to 6pm Pacific (12AM-9AM PHT) with an hour unpaid break
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects from inception to final delivery. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the solar energy industry, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure all project requirements are met.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and installation teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Allocate resources effectively, balancing multiple projects and priorities.
Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines and budgets.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and safety protocols.
Conduct post-installation inspections and address any issues that arise during or after project completion.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports to clients and senior management.
Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and certifications are obtained and properly documented.
Qualifications:
Experience in project management, preferably within the solar energy industry.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
