Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist/Designer to join our client’s creative team in bringing impactful stationery products to life. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of packaging and product design, working with a variety of exciting brands and licensed properties. You’ll apply your keen eye for detail and technical skills to create consistent, high-quality designs across multiple product lines. Responsibilities
- Create and modify packaging designs using existing templates and die lines, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal
- Apply artwork and branding across multiple SKUs and product variations, maintaining uniformity while adapting to different sizes and formats
- Prepare production-ready files for sourcing teams and factories, adhering to strict quality standards and print specifications
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to effectively implement design directions and bring concepts to life
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Contribute to the design process for both house brands and licensed properties, adapting to various style guides and brand requirements
- Ensure accuracy in size, copy placement, and overall design elements across all product packaging
- Support the company’s expansion into new product categories by applying design skills to diverse stationery items
Requirements
- Strong background in graphic design, with particular expertise in packaging design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Demonstrated experience working with templates, die lines, and preparing files for print production
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple projects
- Strong understanding of print production processes and color management
- Ability to follow creative direction and work effectively within established brand guidelines
- Experience with licensed properties and adapting designs to different brand requirements is a plus
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating products that make a positive impact on children’s lives
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
