As an Outbound Sales Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in driving business growth for a respected IT solutions provider. This position offers a perfect blend of technical knowledge and sales expertise, allowing you to make a significant impact while working with a supportive team. You’ll connect with potential clients, showcase cutting-edge IT products and services, and close deals over the phone. Your day-to-day will involve conducting engaging sales calls, setting up online demonstrations, and occasionally coordinating face-to-face meetings for complex sales scenarios. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in consultative selling, technical product knowledge, and relationship building in the fast-paced IT industry.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, leveraging provided lead lists to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Deliver compelling pitches for IT products (including fonts, computer systems, and hardware) and services (such as professional installation and maintenance)
- Set up and conduct engaging online product demonstrations to showcase our solutions effectively
- Qualify leads and close sales over the phone, demonstrating strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Schedule face-to-face appointments for complex sales requiring in-person meetings with on-site staff
- Utilize CRM systems to manage customer data, track interactions, and maintain an organized sales pipeline
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, contributing to the company’s growth objectives
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to share insights and best practices for improved performance
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the IT industry or related technical fields
- Strong phone presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and explain technical IT products and services to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software, with a willingness to learn new tools
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a results-driven environment
- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining high productivity and professionalism
- Ability to work Australian business hours and maintain a quiet, secure home office environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
