Job Description
As a Virtual Medical Assistant, you’ll be the cornerstone of patient communication and administrative efficiency for this dynamic endocrinology practice. - Assist with insurance-related tasks, including prior authorizations
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform administrative duties to support overall clinic operations
- Utilize medical office software and scheduling systems efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist or virtual assistant in U.S. healthcare
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. health insurance systems and prior authorization processes
- Strong grasp of HIPAA regulations and unwavering commitment to patient privacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in medical office software and scheduling platforms
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills for remote work
- Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in endocrinology (preferred)
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team communication
