We are seeking a motivated Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing projects, executing social media strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Project Management and Ensure Timely Delivery of Marketing Campaigns
- Coordinate Campaign Timelines: Work closely with project managers and marketing teams to create detailed schedules for marketing initiatives, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Track Progress: Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, identifying potential roadblocks and proactively addressing them to keep campaigns on track.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of campaign activities and milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders and contributing to project evaluation.
Manage and Curate Content for Social Media Platforms
- Content Planning: Develop and implement a content calendar that aligns with overall marketing strategies, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice across platforms.
- Engagement Strategy: Actively engage with followers by responding to comments and messages, fostering a sense of community and enhancing brand loyalty.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends and best practices, integrating innovative ideas into content strategies to boost audience engagement.
Analyze Campaign Performance and Provide Insights for Improvement
- Data Collection and Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to gather data on campaign performance metrics, such as engagement rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Reporting Insights: Prepare clear and actionable reports that highlight key findings, trends, and areas for improvement, presenting these insights to the marketing team.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement adjustments to campaigns based on performance data, optimizing future marketing efforts.
Collaborate with Creative Teams to Develop Compelling Marketing Materials
- Creative Brief Development: Assist in creating detailed briefs that outline the objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes for marketing materials.
- Feedback and Revisions: Provide constructive feedback on creative assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign goals while collaborating with designers and content creators.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including design, sales, and product teams, to ensure that all marketing materials effectively communicate key messages and support overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Experience working in a NGO (whether local or international)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project and social media management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in social media tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
