Insurance Advisor Administrative Assistant

As our team of IAAA expands, we are focused on continually improving our workflows to handle increasing demand efficiently.
Role Overview:
Starting part-time (5-10 hours per week) with a flexible schedule, you’ll initially work in a pre-agreed time block during the first 1-3 months. This role is designed to transition into a full-time position (40 hours per week) within 2-3 months, offering you an opportunity to grow as we expand. You’ll be integral in refining our processes, ensuring our administrative functions scale smoothly with our team’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in conference calls with the Vancouver customer success team.
- Manage tasks and deadlines using GitHub Issues, prioritizing and optimizing workflows.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance administrative efficiency using AI-driven tools.
- Report progress and suggest improvements to the workflow as we bring more IAAA on board.
- Train and support new team members, ensuring they can independently manage tasks as the team expands.
What We’re Looking For:
- You must pass our in-house, 73-question multiple-choice test on the BC insurance industry.
- Initial part-time commitment with flexibility, transitioning to full-time within 2-3 months.
- Ability to align with the Vancouver time zone.
- Proficiency in video conferencing and standard office software.
- A self-motivated individual comfortable with remote work.
- Quick adaptability to new IT and AI-based systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to insurance administrative tasks.
