About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Audience Development Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is recruiting IT professionals to attend our exclusive, invite-only events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in lead sourcing, telesales, and digital outreach, particularly with engaging C-suite executives, senior executives, and technical professionals within the IT industry.
Upon achieving targets over a 6-month period, this role offers the opportunity to advance to a Senior Audience Development Manager (with more responsibilities and a higher salary) and potentially a Sales Director role, managing a team of 3-4 members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sourcing & Research: Identify and source high-quality leads of IT professionals and decision-makers across Singapore and Australia using various tools and databases.
- Telesales: Conduct outbound calls to prospective attendees to promote event participation, handle objections, and convert leads to attendees.
- Email Outreach: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to engage and nurture prospective attendees.
- LinkedIn Prospecting: Use LinkedIn to connect with and engage IT professionals, building a network of qualified leads and converting them into event attendees.
- Data Management: Maintain and update CRM with relevant contact details, tracking all outreach and follow-ups accurately.
- Reporting & KPIs: Monitor and report on key metrics such as outreach effectiveness, conversion rates, and attendee registrations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and event teams to ensure alignment on audience goals and event promotions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in audience development, telesales, or business development, preferably within the events or IT industry.
- Proven track record of success in lead generation, prospecting, and converting leads to attendees.
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn prospecting and email outreach strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and persuasive telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously.
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM systems and data management best practices.
- Business fluency in English; fluency in Chinese, Malay, and Thai would be a benefit.
