Email Marketing Specialist
Job Highlights:

Responsibilities:
Generate revenue through email marketing strategies and manage a customer referral program.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and optimize our Klaviyo email marketing platform; utilize advanced features including custom metrics and properties; develop and maintain complex automation flows.
• Manage up to 12 distinct persona segments; oversee up to 6 (and growing) distinct lists; create standalone campaigns and dynamic content blocks for personalization.
• Create and execute a promotional calendar to convert free subscribers to paid products; manage affiliate marketing product campaigns via segmentation or newsletter inclusion; develop strategies to increase B2B advertising sales through email.
• Craft compelling, conversion-oriented copy for email campaigns (excluding technical pastry content); design visually appealing email templates aligning with brand guidelines; optimize emails for various devices and clients.
• Collaborate with the social media team on consistent messaging and timing; develop integrated marketing campaigns with email as the primary driver.
• Create and manage a comprehensive referral program for email list, subscriptions, and summit; develop email strategies to encourage and reward customer referrals.
• Analyze campaign performance, focusing on revenue-generating metrics; conduct A/B tests on all aspects of email campaigns; provide regular reports on email performance and revenue impact.
• Implement strategies to grow the email list while maintaining quality; develop re-engagement campaigns for inactive subscribers.
• Develop and optimize automated sequences (welcome series, re-engagement, nurture flows); ensure all automated sequences align with revenue goals.
• Implement strategies for acquisition, engagement, retention, and win-back stages; develop targeted campaigns for each stage of the subscriber journey.
Requirements
• Proven experience in revenue-focused email marketing
• Expert-level proficiency with Klaviyo, including advanced features
• Strong understanding of email marketing metrics and data analysis
• Excellent copywriting skills focused on driving conversions
• Proficiency in email design
• Experience with segmentation and personalization strategies
• Familiarity with B2B and B2C email marketing approaches
• Strong project management skills for multiple simultaneous campaigns
• Up-to-date knowledge of email marketing best practices and regulations
• Understanding of email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
klaviyo experience and proficiency is a must
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in publishing or media industries
• Familiarity with referral program management
• Knowledge of CRM systems and their integration with email platforms
