Schedule:
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Sydney time (or 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Manila time)
- With 1 hour unpaid break in between

Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring regulatory compliance within centralized and regulated cryptocurrency/ banking exchanges. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to security, transparency, and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and review transactions and activities for potential compliance issues, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
- Provide compliance training and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate compliance measures into daily operations.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board on compliance matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a compliance role within a centralized and regulated cryptocurrency/ banking exchange.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the cryptocurrency/ banking and financial services industries.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with regulatory bodies and compliance frameworks specific to the cryptocurrency/financial industry.
- Understanding of blockchain technology and digital asset markets.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
