Key Responsibilities
Daily Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Generate daily financial reports
Weekly Responsibilities
- Track and report KPIs related to financial operations
- Issue necessary notifications regarding accounts
- Manage debt collection processes
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documentation
Monthly Responsibilities
- Process PAYE and GST
- Conduct end-of-month (EOM) commissions, statements, and reconciliations
- Manage budgeting, cash flow, and Profit & Loss statements
- Follow up on outstanding debtors
- Process payments to creditors
- Update sales information
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures related to accounts management

- Technical Support Team

External:
- Interact with a variety of customers, including resorts, hotels, motels, cafes, bars, restaurants, tourism agents, trade and service providers
- Maintain relationships with private clients and suppliers
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Xero accounting software
- Previous experience in a technology or contract-based business
- Proven trustworthiness with a solid understanding of New Zealand accounting practices
- Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods with occasional lifting of office supplies
