Scope:

Manage bookkeeping for a company with multiple service lines, including water damage, fire restoration, reconstruction, and more

Handle financial transactions related to insurance claims and payments

Assist in financial operations for a business processing high-volume insurance-based transactions

Contribute to administrative tasks beyond bookkeeping to support overall business operations

Work full-time (40 hours per week) in alignment with the company’s Eastern Time Zone schedule
-
Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online
-
Process and follow up on accounts receivable, primarily from insurance companies
-
Reconcile financial statements and maintain accurate records
-
Assist with financial reporting and analysis

Handle additional administrative tasks to support various departments

Collaborate with multiple teams across different service areas
Requirements:

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
-
Experience with accounts receivable, preferably in an insurance-related field

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks

Strong communication skills to interact with various departments and external parties
