Company/client overview:
The client’s business is a skin care company that has been in business for over 20 years and is located overseas. They have been operating in the US for about 18 months and have their own website. They originally focused on B2C but it wasn’t going well, so they shifted to B2B. The skin care business is crowded, so it’s hard to get a foothold. They’ve used influencers and done other things to try to get B2C business but it hasn’t been where they want it to be. This product has always been B2B focused overseas, where it is only sold to professionals who then sell it to consumers. They are trying to adopt that model in the US now.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to professionals in the skin care industry to generate interest in product trials
- Leave voicemails and notes in CRM system
- Present the company’s products or services in a compelling manner, addressing the specific needs and concerns of the prospect.
- Follow up on leads to attempt to make sales after providing the trial
- Achieve daily KPIs related to call volume, lead engagement, and other relevant metrics.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring continuous engagement and identifying opportunities for future business.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in telesales/telemarketing, specifically B2B sales
- Excellent phone and communication skills
- Experience with CRM systems
- Passion for sales and meeting targets
